The Second International Symposium on Atmospheric Observation and Advanced Measuring Techniques in Remote Areas was held in the Civil Service Development Institute, Taipei. The opening ceremony was hosted by Minister Shen Shih-Hung of the EPA, Deputy President Liu Gin-Rong of NCU, Deputy Director Russ Schnell of global monitoring at the US NOAA, Chu Yu-Chi, Head of Department of Environmental Monitoring and Information Management, the EPA, and Prof. Neng-Huei Lin. The international experts visited the station after the seminar.
